2 Point 4 Children.....

With the School Summer Holidays approaching I am getting more and more calls for families wanting to cruise where the adults stay in one cabin and the children in another. Just a reminder...it is ok to do this but the cabins will need to be either next to, or adjacent to eachother. With this mind, it's not wise to leave it until the last minute to book as availability is limited during these months from very early on. My advise would be, plan ahead and book early.
Many people think that if they have children aged 16 and 17 for example, as they are older, they will be fine to be in a cabin nearby, but this is not the case. Some cruise ships have cabins with an adjoining door which is ideal to keep the family together but still get a bit of space when it's needed. Great family ships such as P&O Ventura and Royal Caribbean Independance of the Seas, still have availability but it is limited. If you're thinking of taking the family on a summer cruise, book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
