Having worked as Cabin Crew for several years prior to moving into the world of Cruises, I have stayed in many, many hotels around the world. Some whilst on duty with work and some when I was maxing out my staff travel concessions! I thought I would share some of my favourtites with you.....

New York - Novotel Times Square

Ideal location on 52nd and Broadway. Fantastic Views of Times Square.

Great value for money

Crown Plaza - Fort Lauderdale, Sawgrass Mills

Great location, about 10 min drive from FLL airport.

Directly opposite Sawgrass Mill Shopping Mall which will amuse you for hours and hours grabbing those all important bargains

Swimming Pool and Sun Terrace for relaxation

Restaurants 2 mins work for convenience

Hilton - San Diego Mission Vally/ San Diego Resort and Spa

We stayed in 2 different ones here. One was Mission Valley which was in the best location as there were huge shopping malls opposite and it was surrounded by restaurants and diners, just minute walk away. One down side is, it's location on a very busy freeway so crossing over to the malls was pretty scary to say the least. Probably not best for children. However, just 10 mins away was the other one, Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa. Well what can I say.....it was beautiful. Situated right on the beach with fabulous views. Oh and this hotel had the BEST beds I have ever slept in. It wasn't easy dragging myself up in the morning!!
